Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 August 2026.
1. The service
PHMail provides temporary, receive-only email inboxes on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Inboxes and messages are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PHMail for:
- any unlawful activity;
- fraud, deception, or impersonation;
- harassment, threats, or abuse of any person;
- sending or facilitating spam;
- abuse of the service or its infrastructure, including automated bulk inbox creation;
- unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- evading lawful restrictions, bans, or legal obligations.
We may block traffic, remove content, or discontinue inboxes at our discretion to protect the service or comply with law.
3. Accounts, PHMail Plus and Developer
PHMail Free requires no account and remains anonymous and public. Creating an optional PHMail account requires a working email address that you control: we send a short code to it and the account is only created once you enter that code. Do not use a PHMail address as your account email — you would not be able to recover the account.
Optional PHMail accounts unlock PHMail Plus (private inboxes with 14-day retention, and reserved aliases) and PHMail Developer (an authenticated testing API). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. API keys are shown once at creation and stored only as cryptographic hashes.
Retention. Messages in a public temporary inbox are deleted after 7 days on every plan, including paid ones, because the address is not owned by any account. The longer retention offered by Plus and Developer applies to private inboxes only.
Public vs private inboxes. A public temporary inbox is accessible to anyone who knows the address — never use it for sensitive information. A private account inbox is accessible only to the authenticated owner through the PHMail website or Developer API.
4. Developer API acceptable use
The Developer API is for legitimate software and QA testing (registration flows, password-reset and OTP/verification testing, integration testing). It must not be used for mass account creation on third-party services, ban evasion, free-trial abuse, spam, fraud, or bypassing third-party restrictions. Usage is metered and subject to plan quotas and rate limits.
5. Subscriptions, pricing and billing
Paid plans are sold as prepaid periods in Philippine pesos. You pay for a set number of months up front and nothing renews automatically — there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. When your period ends, the account simply returns to the Free plan.
Payment is currently made by GCash transfer. We confirm each payment manually against our records before the plan is activated, which normally takes up to one business day. Transfer fees charged by your bank or wallet are yours to bear and are not part of the plan price.
Refunds. If a payment is confirmed but the plan is not activated, or the paid features do not work, contact us and we will activate it or refund you in full. Beyond that, prepaid periods are non-refundable once activated, since the service is delivered immediately and continuously. If you pay the wrong amount, we will contact you before activating anything.
Prices, limits and features may change as PHMail evolves; taxes may apply where required. Any change applies to periods purchased after the change, never retroactively to one you have already paid for. If a paid period lapses, private inboxes become read-only and messages expire according to their retention — a private alias never automatically becomes a public inbox while private messages remain.
6. No guarantees
We do not guarantee delivery, availability, retention, or confidentiality of any message. Third-party services may block disposable email domains. Do not use PHMail for accounts or communications you cannot afford to lose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PHMail and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
